SWACHHATA HI SEVA CAMPAIGN-2019

“Cleanliness is next to Godliness”. To instill a responsible behavior towards cleanliness Swachhata hi Seva Campaign was organized in the school premises. Vidhyashram International School on 20th September 2019. The aim of the event was sanitation is as everyone’s business. Special emphasis was no use of Single use Plastic and Plastic Waste Management. The activities undertaken during the campaign were preparation of charts by the students to display the logo of swachhta hi seva throughout the school. The students also wrote messages, made charts and placards to spread awareness against single use plastic. More emphasis was laid on not using plastic and around the campus.
The campaign was an attempt to bring about attitudinal change towards cleanliness and promote a socially responsible behavior by the children ever when they are not being watched. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Bharti Swami said that such activities will go a long way in making our school, its surroundings and ultimately the country greener by fostering positive attitudinal change that stays for life.
