Subject: Integrated Program for Class XI students for JEE and NEET preparation.

Dear Parents,

The school extends its wishes for your well-being as you receive this letter. The aim of Vidhyashram International School is the holistic development and success of the students. This letter is being composed with the purpose of addressing concerns about managing the students’ academic responsibilities, particularly for exams like JEE and NEET.

  • Balanced Approach: It has been noted that students are opting for dropouts/dummy due to the struggle of balancing school and coaching schedules. The school proposes a balanced approach, focusing on CBSE curriculum to achieve good marks in board examination to meet eligibility for qualifying JEE/NEET as well as preparing the students for JEE/NEET.

Constraints faced by students opting for JEE/NEET at various non-local coaching institutions and other dummy schools/institutes:

  • Non-Local Coaching Institutions:

Student are away from family and do not have emotional support.

Besides paying for the exorbitant fee of ₹ 1 lakhs to 1.5 lakhs to the institute; the student has to fend for himself in terms of accommodation, food and transport.

Being away from parents is a cause of tension and anxiety for the parents as well as the student because of separation from the family.

  • LOCAL DUMMY SCHOOLS/INSTITUTES:

Those who are shifting locally to a dummy school are paying ₹ 30,000 to ₹ 50,000 to the school without school providing any assistance to students.

The student is not exposed to the hands-on practical classes of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

The institute charges exorbitant amount of fee ranging from ₹ 1 lakhs to 1.5 lakhs.

The institute does not prepare students for CBSE. The present norms require good marks in Class XII Boards to be eligible for admission based on JEE and NEET results.

  • Integrated Program: Keeping the above points into consideration, the school is proposing to start an integrated program for Class XI Science stream (Maths/Biology) for preparation for JEE/NEET, covering CBSE syllabus and entrance exam preparation for comprehensive academic excellence. The program will be optional. Separate batches will be made for integrated and regular classes for Class XI. This will be in the school and during school hours.
  • Incentives for Excellence:

To incentivize the excellence, school will offer a 10% concession in the school fee to any student scoring 80% and above in Class X board exams.

The school will function five days a week for Class XI and XII. However, students opting for integrated program will come to school on all the six days.

  • Financial Effect: Students opting for integrated programs will be charged ₹ 8,500 per quarter over and above the quarterly school fee.

With a balanced approach and collaborative effort among the school, parents, and students, the school aims to facilitate success in CBSE and competitive exams and foster overall growth. Your support is appreciated.

For further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us. Together, let us empower our students.

Warm regards,

Management

Dear Parents,
Greetings for the day!
It is to inform you that use of personal vehicle driven by students is strictly prohibited as per school rules. A number
of Circulars/Reminders have been given in the past on the subject. However, it is noted with concern that a few
students are still bringing their personal vehicles (Mobike/Scooty) to the school and the same is viewed seriously so
in the absence of non adherence to the Govt. rules on the subject and non adherence by students particularly (Driving
License/ Helmet etc)
Recently few of our students have been checked by police and school has been asked to stop use of vehicle by
unauthorized person, in this case, students.
It is once again directed that please discourage use of vehicle by your ward. Students using personal vehicle will not
be allowed in the school. Parents, if they so desire, are welcome to drop and pick up their ward from school.
