JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION

India is a land of festivals and celebrations and every festival has a specific reason for its celebration. One such grand festival is “ janmashtami “ which is celebrated with utmost zeal across the nation and was celebrated with the same gusto in VIS as well.. There was a beautiful dance portrayal by the students of class 1, 2&3 depicting the life cycle of Lord Krishna. The scintillating performance began with the birth of Lord Krishna. The whole amphitheatre echoed with the congratulatory songs. The celebration of his birth eventually evolved into his childhood portrayal and we all know that his childhood marks the threshold of mischief. His young age was as colorful and full of beautiful incidents more so with his beloved friend “ Radha” which was immaculately displayed by the young ones.

The performance also showcased the enthronement of Lord in Dwarka, his kingdom. Exhibiting his lifecycle would be incomplete if his ethereal friendship with Sudama, his dearest friend, goes unsung of  the students lived upto everyone’s expectations whilst touching this part of Lord’s life.

Likewise, the battle of Mahabharta was showcased with such finesse that left everyone awestruck. The entire event concluded with the revelation of cosmic form of Lord Krishna in the battlefield. It signified that everyone on earth is mortal and driven by the nature of one’s deed. We all are nothing but puppet’s doing our Karma as we are destined to!!
