INTER-HOUSE DANCE COMPITITION

Under the British Council- ISA Activity, an Inter House Dance Competition was organized in the amphitheater of Vidhyashram International School, Jodhpur. The Dance forms of seven countries – India, Sri Lanka, South Korea, U.S.A., Philippines, Nigeria and Spain- were performed on the stage.
All the performers mesmerized the audience by their liveliness and expressiveness. All the students enjoyed the programme very much. They enriched their knowledge about various dance forms of different countries. They learnt that dance is the most popular way, through which people all over the world express their elated feelings.
A message was conveyed through this competition that dance is helpful in developing concentration. It provides good physical exercise. Some of the dance forms strengthened the fact that dance has a lot to do with spirituality. Shri Vinay Kumar Jain, Chairman Vidhyashram International School praised the students and the staff for such a wonderful programme. He said that these activities bring out the hidden talent of the students. Dr.(Mrs) Bharti Swami, Principal VIS, expressed her happiness by saying that the school is striving for the overall development of the students.
