THE BLUE CITY CHILDREN’S LITERATURE FESTIVAL
The children of 21st century are very innovative, creative and ambitious. To provide them an opportunity to have a firsthand experience of different sorts of arts, 4th edition of ‘KITAABO’ – The Blue City Children’s Literature Festival was organized at Vidhyashram International School. The fest stirred the imagination of young intellectuals for three days (17th, 18th & 19th December 2019).
A galaxy of renowned writers, story tellers, dramatists, poets, painters, radio announcers, actors and singers assiduously tried to restore their talent in the future generation. Students from more than 30 schools of Jodhpur attended 150 sessions and enriched their experience. The students thoroughly enjoyed all the sessions. Not only this, there were recreation centers along with a large cafeteria.
The event was prominently covered by print and electronic media. The fest provided an ultimate opportunity to kindle the spirit of creativity. It has become an exciting medium to broaden the vision of the students. It has earned a prestigious name among the literary activities of Rajasthan as this is the only literary festival for children in the state.
Shri Vinay Kumar Jain, Chairman Vidhyashram, expressed his happiness over the successful completion of KITAABO. Dr (Mrs) Bharti Swami, Principal VIS, said that efforts would be made to make this event more beneficial for the students in the year to come.
