Teachers’ Day 2019

Teachers’ Day was celebrated with full fervor and enthusiasm at Vidhyashram International School, Jodhpur. The students honoured their teachers by putting ‘tilak’ on their forehead. Dr (Mrs) Bharti Swami, Principal VIS, highlighted the importance of the day. She inspired the students by telling some incidents from Dr Radhakrishnan’s life.
Also, the senior most students of XII took a period in each class and discussed with the children, the role of teachers in the lives of students.
After that, the teachers were taken to Taj Hari Mahal where everybody enjoyed the entertainment programme organized by the Staff Club. Mr Gaurav Jain, CEO, Vidhyashram, congratulated all and appreciated the hard work and efforts of the teachers whole heartedly. The celebrations concluded with a sumptuous lunch.
