SURVEY FOR POLIO VACCINATION

The Interact Club members of Vidhyashram International School, conducted a survey in Nandra Kallan village of Jodhpur on 16th October 2019, to get detailed demographic and polio immunization history of the children. The information collected included educational status of both parents, number of children less than 5 years, polio vaccination history polio awareness level of parents and reasons of refusal to polio vaccination. The visit to this village was to create awareness on polio and made them the realize importance of administering polio 5 years. Students also informed them about the importance of polio virus and motivated parents to vaccinate their children. Handouts related to symptoms and cure of polio were distributed to villagers.
