SPICMACAY

Under SPICMACAY activities, a dance performance was held in the school amphitheater. A dedicated and promising young exponent of Sattriya Dance, Dr Anwesa Mahanta, graced the occasion and mesmerized the audience by the liveliness of her dance and the expressiveness of her abhinaya. The renowned dancer has been learning, researching and interpreting Sattriya dance, music and theatre since two decades and gave a breathtaking solo performance. Children enjoyed watching the classical performance and were enlightened by her demonstration of different mudras. She has been performing extensively in several prestigious dance festivals and is listed as A grade artist of Doordarshan and ICCR.
