SEE AND TELL COMPETITION (22-July-2019)

Learning preferences of the children invariably differs from child to child. Some respond to the visuals in the form of pictures, while some prefer listening to the voices and voicing out their perceptions. Show and Tell is one such activity which is known to tickle their visual as well as auditory senses and catalyse their learning process. Keeping this in mind, a Show and Tell activity was organized by the school for the students of classes I, II & III. Various pictures of their interest like fruits, Teacher, My Book, Rabbit, Pet, Friend, Computer, Water, School Dress etc. were shown to them and they were asked to speak few lines on each.
Children thoroughly enjoyed speaking about the things and people, so closely associated with their lives. It helped them in overcoming stage fear. Also, such activities transform the children into more confident speakers and help them, to a large extent, in their future endeavours.
