Measles and Rubella VACCINATION CAMPAIGN

India has faced a number of epidemics since time immemorial and the after effects are still evident.
With an increased literacy rate and alacrity of health ministry,we have been able to eradicate most of the pandemics and the drive is still on. In continuity with the efforts to make India an epidemic free country, a nation wide campaign to eradicate MEASLES and RUBELLA, has been launched by the Health Ministry of India and our school has extended staunch support for this initiative.
On 26 July, the students of class 1 to 10 were vaccinated in the school campus by trained health workers under the supervision of qualified doctors.They were given a list of precautions to be observed a day ahead of the vaccination.
The management was glad to see
the active participation of the parents in this drive which led to its phenomenal success.
