FIT INDIA MOVEMENT (Fitness week)

It is rightly said that a healthy mind dwells in a healthy body. To teach the importance of exercise in students’ lives, VIS is celebrating FITNESS WEEK. It is also being celebrated to support the FIT INDIA MOVEMENT propagated by our respected Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi .
On the first day of the week i.e. Monday, children of primary wing learnt and practiced few yoga asanas viz. Tadasana, Trikosana and Bhastrika breath popularly known as Pranayama.
On the second day, students performed certain aerobic steps under the mentorship of their teacher. Students will be introduced to other forms of exercises on the following days thus leading to their holistic development.
