ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING WORKSHOP

A workshop on ‘ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING’ was conducted by Oxford University Press on 19 December,2018 at Happy Hours School, Jodhpur. The resource person – Mrs Gayatri Khanna – was well versed in her field. Two teachers, Mrs Jagriti Yaduvansi and Mr Parmeshwar Singh, from Vidhyashram International School attended the workshop.

At first the challenges of Primary classes were addressed. The books, content and the syllabus for these classes were thoroughly discussed.  In the session for senior classes, the importance and application of three important points – Diagnostic, Feedback and Feed forward – were very well explained. Some interesting and useful activities like – Transportation of verbal into visual, Graphic text completion etc were conducted. The workshop reached to its paramount stage when the resource person answered the questions. Her experience and profound knowledge made the workshop successful.
