Collage Making Activity

The term collage is derived from the French word ‘Kolla’ which means ‘to glue’. This is a technique of art in which students get multiple pictures and information on a certain topic and compile it to a visual art.

As we were celebrating Earth Day for the entire week, we thought of educating the children about the importance of the same through the medium of collage making. This activity was conducted in the form of a competition amongst the different houses of class 4 and 5. The students came up with wonderful ideas and left no stone unturned to be the winner of the competition. The corridor of the primary wing, eventually, turned into a beautiful art gallery when children displayed their work of art where every collage had a strong message hidden in it.
