CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION

“A CHILD IS THE FATHER OF MAN” – LEO TOLSTAY

Vidhyashram International School believes that the youth provides new ideas, guidance, zeal and hope for future. At the same time the school plays a pivotal role in shaping their belief systems, ideology and personality. The opportunity provided by children’s day to make the children enjoy, bond with their follow students and teachers and learn something new, away from the conventional confines of the classroom was utilized to its maximum by Vidhyashram International School on 14th November 2019. A set of carefully thought out and planned activities were organized to provide students with their age appropriate experiences and also to make them learn with fun.
Classes I to III:- The tiny tots were provided a myriad of experiences in the school itself. They were taken to the ground and various games were organized for them followed by a screening of the movie “Stanley ka Dabba” in AV Room. They were also treated to a small gift hamper containing eatables.
Classes IV & V were taken to Carnival Cinemas for a special screening of “The Lion King”.
Classes VI to VIII visited the picturesque location of Veergarh Resort. The students were made to play various games and they enjoyed dancing to the tunes of their favorite songs and a hearty lunch.
Classes IX & X visited OTC Resort.
The students indulged in various games and then danced to the tunes of some all time favorite songs. They also enjoyed lunch.
Classes XI & XII visited the Basant Handicrafts Factory, Bhandu to gain industrial experience.
Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Bharti Swami said that Children’s Day provided a unique opportunity to the students to experience going on trips with their teachers and peers. It was a good experience in teaching responsible behavior, helpfulness and time management.
