Career Counseling
The goal of education is holistic development of a child but the need of the hour is also to spread awareness among the youth about the various and upcoming career opportunities available globally. Studying abroad is also the dream of many students now-a-days, but they do not know how to approach it.
Keeping the above points in mind a Career Counseling Seminar for the students of Class X was organized on 22nd Nov, 2019. Entrepreneur and a brand creator conduct the session for the children.
The session started with a short question answer round with the children. It was thought provoking and enlisted the various areas that the session would be touching. The students also filled certain forms to help them understand their potential interests and corresponding career opportunities. The various streams, their combinations and how it corresponds to their strengths was explained in depth. The various paths to obtain admission in foreign universities was explained in depth. The children showed enthusiasm and asked many questions. They also came to know of new and previously unheard of career options.
Dr.(Mrs.) Bharti Swami said that the school aims to provide a myriad of experiences to the children to enable them to become informed decision makers. Students are spending time and resources outside for such kind of services that Vidhyashram International School provides them right in the school.
