GREEN COLOUR DAY CELEBRATION
On the beautiful morning of 28th August 2019, children of Vidhyashram Kidz Play School celebrated Green Colour Day at school. Children came smartly dressed in green colour. As green is the colour of life, renewal nature and energy and this is closely associated with meanings of growth, harmony, freshness, fertility and environment. They were shown different things in green colour. Students were taught the identification and recognition of green fruits, vegetables, leaves; trees. Children brought green snacks and vegetables in their lunch box. Students were also shown how to create green colour by mixing blue and yellow colour. Colour corners were set-up in all the classes, which displayed different shades of green objects. Later Kids were taken for a nature walk to feel the green and learn the significance of green colour in nature.
