International Girl Child Day

International Girl Child Day is held every year on 13 October worldwide. It was celebrated in VIS, to sensitize the students towards the ever growing challenges faced by girls. Students of class XI delivered impressive speeches in the assembly. The aim behind this day is to highlight and address the needs and challenges faced by girls, while promoting girls’ empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights.
