Mock Parliament Activity

A mock parliament was conducted for two days (November 03, 2017 – November 04, 2017) by Independent Indian Youth Conclave, Jodhpur Chapter – 2017 at Vidhyashram International School, Jodhpur. Advocate Ankur Mathur, the chief Guest, gave the inaugural speech the talked about the importance of constitution and education policies. Group Captain S.K. Sharma, Director, Vidhyashram International School expressed his happiness on this occasion and inspired the young parliamentarians to make the best use of the opportunity provided.

The session started with national anthem. All the parliamentary formalities were followed. The students were very enthusiastic about it and they took part in it with the same spirit. The team members of IIYC explained the function of parliament in detail. The students learnt to raise issues of social and national importance. It could be seen clearly that their confidence level was increased. They really honed their debating skill. Whenever students got confused, they were helped by Rahul and Rudraksh, members of IIYC.

Dr. (Mrs.) Bharti Swami, Principal, Vidhyashram International School said that these types of activities are important for the overall development of students. Shri Vinay Kumar Jain, Chairman, Vidhyashram International School, congratulated the students for making the event very successful.
