Goal Setting

A workshop was organized by Vidhyashram International School in the conference Hall on 26th October 2016 on the topic ‘Goal Setting’. Shreekant Gupta, Director of IICS, conducted the workshop and filled the students of class-XII with enthusiasm and energy. He discussed various things that highlighted the purpose of goal setting. He quoted, ‘Success is not a matter of chance but a matter of choice’. He distinguished between humans and animals in a very beautiful way by saying, ‘Humans contribute, animals consume’. According to him, G.O.A.L. can be expanded in a beautiful form of Growth, Optimism, Attention, and Love. For him, clarity leads to strength and confusion leads to weakness. For him, smart work means minimum efforts and maximum output. Rohan Sharma, a student, who witnessed the event said, “The workshop was fantastic and I am sure that all the others are thinking the same. I am thankful to my school as they organized this event which will definitely guide me in setting my goals. ”Dr. (Mrs.) Bharti Swami said, “Students require guidance and motivation in order to perform better. The school from time to time conducts such workshops for the same purpose.”
